UBM 200 Overview
Ideally suited for Small Businesses, Home Workers and Gamers requiring improved internet connection stability and speeds, UBM 200 Load Balancers link 2 or more, independent Internet connections, of any type, to your network.
Without a doubt, the most useful function of your UBM 200 load balancer is failover, the ability to detect faulty connections and automatically re-direct data through all remaining, active connections. In addition, all UBM appliances can operate with High Availability, removing the UBM as a single point of failure.
The UBM range are some of the few load balancers available on today's market that will not interfere with your existing network infrastructure, seamlessly operating with your existing firewall and services.
Although the UBM 200 Load Balancer does not provide truly combined bandwidth (see ISP Bonding for this solution), it will accelerate the download of individual files due to reduced congestion normally associated with a single connection.
As with all UBM appliances, the UBM 200 load balancer includes integrated bandwidth monitoring and management software, allowing you to quickly setup and manage your network services and applications use of the available connections.
